This holiday season, rally your communities around the small businesses that help make your downtown thrive. Encourage your community to Shop Small® on Small Business Saturday and throughout the holiday season by applying to be a Neighborhood Champion today.
Main Street America is a proud supporter of Small Business Saturday, and we’re thrilled to team up with American Express to help you support small businesses on your Main Street as a Neighborhood Champion. All Main Street America members have been pre-qualified to serve as Neighborhood Champions on a first-come, first served basis. Space is limited so claim your spot before applications close. All you need to do is fill out a brief Neighborhood Champion application and indicate you were referred by the National Main Street Center (NMSC).
As a Neighborhood Champion, you’ll:
Rally your community to Shop Small on Small Business Saturday, Nov 25, and throughout the holiday season.
Plan and host a local event on Small Business Saturday in partnership with small businesses in your community.
Distribute a complimentary Shop Small kit of merchandise that encourages holiday shopping and supporting small businesses all season long.
Applications will remain open through mid-November or until spots are filled, so be sure to apply soon! Kits will begin shipping within the next two weeks, so sign up early to get your kit with plenty of time to prepare before the big day.
