Dear CAMS Community
CAMS Quarterly | Winter 2022
By: Amanda Elliott, Senior Program Officer and Director of California Programs, Main Street America
2022 is off to a great start! So many amazing opportunities on the horizon. We’re gearing up for our annual conference Creating Community Vitality! to be held virtually Thursday, March 24 and Friday, March 25, featuring highlights and special sessions from Eureka, CA. The CAMS conference is an opportunity for all those involved in California commercial district revitalization to learn best practices, key trends, and economic development strategies to support small businesses as they continue to transform and recover from the pandemic. In addition to two full days of educational content and connection, conference attendees can expect remarks from elected officials, a special keynote address, an interactive virtual tour, happy hour, and more!
Make sure to check out the Becoming Familiar with the Six New Accreditation Standards webinar recording and stay tuned for more exciting events, workshops, and trainings coming soon. We’re here to support all the great work you’re doing and want to provide you with more tools and resources to accomplish all your goals. Remember to share all your announcements, events and special projects with us so that we can highlight and share them throughout the network. It’s important to share your success and challenges, we’re always looking for a good story!
A reminder that annual reports are due March 11. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you online at the virtual conference and in-person sometime soon. Let’s keep creating vitality in our communities!
In partnership,
Amanda Elliott
